Walls go up! The second floor bathrooms were the first to get new walls!

The guys from Schuh measure the future coffee shop space for it's walls.
The coffee shop gets studs for the back bar area and a part of the seating area.
Drywall goes up.
After a small amount of asbestos removal, an old mosaic tile was discovered under the carpeting.
The old entrance on the corner of Walnut and Washington is removed.
The old concrete was taken out to be replaced with new concrete for the brand new entrance.
The whole corner is exposed.

New windows are put in. The windows are based on the original windows put in when the building went up.
Old Castle does the demo for the windows.
A series of steel beams goes up to help support the new staircase.
Workers bring in a big saw to cut through the concrete, and terrazzo.
A forklift on first floor is ready to lower the first piece of the ceiling
The final cuts are made.
The first piece is lowered!
There were three sections cut. Next month the stairs will get delivered and installed.
